Cephalometric radiography is a special lateral radiograph of the head that assesses the structure and position of the bones and soft tissues of the human skull, as well as the anatomical relationships between them.

It is mainly used in Orthodontics, both before the treatment but during and after its end, in order to evaluate the produced result.
